After a rigorous tender process, the University of Melbourne awarded Camatic Seating to replace the existing seating and to increase the overall student capacity and comfort.

Seating installation was completed during the mid-term break to avoid any interruptions to the university’s academic schedule.

The 395 of the existing lecture seats, 1200 chairs were replaced with Quantum 850 seats. These were upholstered in a Macquarie ‘Billabong’ colour fabric and featured back pads. Quantum D2 tablets were also installed with all the seats.

Camatic Seating also provided Quantum's aisle lighting to improve safety and accessibility for the students and staff of this university.
